Realizing the fundamental role that realtors play in the residential housing market: The unprecedented housing boom experienced several years ago allowed for an enormous influx of builders and developers into the area. Although not new to the industry, Eastman Homes believes that the realtor comes first and this is shown in the structure of the compensation package. Upon the introduction of a client to Eastman Homes, various alternatives allow for the realtor to receive compensation for their referral. With the realtor entitled to a sales commission based off the contract amount of the home, we offer an agreement which sets our incentives apart from other builders in the industry. After signing the Realtor/Builder Agreement, the realtor will receive his/her entitled amount upon the foundation pour of the house. This assures that the realtor receives their earned compensation at the beginning of the process rather than waiting until the closing. A second benefit to those involved with Eastman Homes is that the client is able to receive a pre-design along with a cost estimate before committing to any fees or the home itself. We believe this allows for the client to sample our abilities while also providing them with a fairly accurate estimate as to the cost of the home without being obligated to use Eastman Homes as their preferred builder. Eastman Homes realizes the fundamental role that realtors play in the residential market and believes that their expertise and knowledge should be extended into the arena of new home construction.
